TOC and Regionals Qualification

Starting 1/1/08 Regional Qualification Tournaments:

There will be a “West Qualification” (West venues) and “East Qualification” (East venues) held every two weeks. Each Qualification will consist of two tournaments ( early & late ).

Qualification periods run Saturday through Friday for 2 consecutive weeks. The Qualification Tournament will be held the following week.

The top 12 from each qualification tournament will earn TOC tickets.

1st Place will earn 3 extra TOC tickets (each extra TOC ticket worth $200 in extra chips at the next TOC)

2nd place will earn 2 extra TOC tickets

3rd place will earn 1 extra TOC ticket

Entries to the Qualification Tournaments are earned at regular nightly games.

Nightly qualifying structure :
- 1 table games - 1st place only will receive a entry to the Qualification Tournament

- 2, 3, or 4 table games - 1st and 2nd place

- 5, 6, 7, 8, or 9 table games - 1st, 2nd and 3rd place

-10 table games and up - 1st, 2nd, 3rd and 4th place

Regional Qualification Tournament (RQ) cards won at an early tournament will be good for the early Qualification Tournament only.

RQ cards won at a late tournament will be good for the late Qualification Tournament only.

RQ cards won at “West” establishments will be good for the “West” Qualification Tournaments only.

RQ cards won at “East” establishments will be good for the “East” Qualification Tournaments only.

Players may play in as many RQ Tournaments as they qualify for.

Additional RQ cards FOR THE SAME TOURNAMENT can be turned in for $200 extra in chips ($1000 max).

1st place winners at nightly tournaments may trade in their prize for an additional RQ Card

RQ Tournament seats are non-transferable

Lost RQ Cards will only be replaced by sending an email to thepokerpubtourney@sbcglobal.net at least 48 hours before the RQ Tournament….no replacement cards will be available at the Tournament

Wildcards will be given out by the Venues to valued patrons

Wildcards drawings will be held for players who have registered and are receiving emails through ThePokerPubSTL.com

 

 

Tournament Of Champions-Starting 3/2/08

The Tournament of Champions (TOC) will be held every 8 weeks.

Two TOCs will be held on the same day, an early round and a late round.

Top 3 winners of each round will receive prizes.

Tournaments will be approximately ten tables (80 people)

Tournament entry will be by TOC Tickets earned in Qualification Tournaments ONLY.

Players may qualify and play in both the early and late rounds.

Extra TOC Tickets can be turned in for $200 in chips each with a max of $1000

You MUST have your ticket(s) for TOC entry and extra chips – NO EXCEPTIONS.

TOC Mini Winners will win a qualification ticket good for any qualification tournament

Prizes:

Prizes are non-transferable

First Prize will be airfare and a seat in the next Poker Pub National Championship where the winner receives a $10,000 buy-in to the upcoming World Series of Poker Main Event.

Second Prize will be a seat in the next Poker Pub National Championship and hotel.

Third Prize will be a seat in the next Poker Pub National Championship.

You can only win one seat in the next Poker Pub National Championship. If you take First place one month and second the next, you will have won one seat to the Poker Pub National Championship, airfare and hotel.

Airfare can be traded for hotel. For example, if you take first place twice, you can trade one airfare for a hotel prize to give you a seat + airfare + hotel.

Hotel cannot be traded for airfare.

If you have won a seat by itself, or with just airfare or hotel, the remainder of your travel must be booked through The Poker Pub STL in order to receive the seat/airfare/hotel. You will then be required to pay us for the piece you still need. Rates charged through the Poker Pub for airfare/hotel will be comparable to rates at time of booking.
